Dewberry Farms: A New Parish Tradition

Today was a great day spent at Dewberry Farms which is an awesome Fall (and later Christmas) attraction outside of Katy. I was so excited for Elijah to see the animals, colorful pumpkins and other children and he had a blast! He was limited on what he could do at this age and unfortunately, it was a little warmer than we expected, so we missed out on the pony rides but there was so much more to do, and now we have a fun tradition to look forward to year after year as long as we remain in Houston!

Elijah grabbed right onto the fence when we got to the goats. He so longs for the OPTION of physical independence. But he still looks around to make sure Mama and Daddy are close by!

He is so fascinated by animals. A true animal lover like his Mama!

I LOVE this shot of him with the pumpkins! My sweet boy!

Just lounging around. I hope he loves Halloween as much as we do!

Not hard to get a smile out of this guy!

Stopping to watch the baby ducks

Such a curious little fella

They had this really cool display of carved pumpkins lit up in the barn. It was AWESOME!  So magical...and ended up being a really nice place to nurse Elijah! He also loved looking at all the lit up pumpkins!

We love Daddy!

Chip went into this thing called The Black Whole....it makes you feel like you are falling down.....pretty neat.

Feeding the goats again with Daddy.

Elijah made a friend

I have called Elijah my little Pumpkin Pie since birth. This hat is perfect!

Elijah picked out his first pumpkin! The perfect size because it was light enough for him to carry around!

Mama picked the most "interesting" pumpkin!
