One of the Texas traditions that I have enjoyed the most as our family has grown is the tradition of taking yearly photos in the bluebonnets. Our very first bluebonnet photos were taken during a maternity photo shoot when I was pregnant with Elijah and I didn’t even realize the significance at the time. Since then we have used the bluebonnet photos as Elijah’s official birthday picture as well as an opportunity to get a pretty family photo. And of course nothing is quite as precious as precious littles frolicking in beautiful flowers. Because we loved the work my good friend MJ of Knucklebug Photography did for the twins birthday photos, we hoped that she would take a professional shoot for our bluebonnet photos this year! Normally we head in the direction of Chappell Hill but this year we were fortunate to learn about a spot just a few miles from home!

Your choice of outfits is great; the yellow and light blue really make the bluebonnets pop. I also love Rory's faces throughout the photos; he couldn't muster an expression any more positive than "I'm tolerating this for you, Mom."
Sooz.....Elijah is totally a big boy now! Sniff sniff. Bittersweet. And Rory's uaualky laughing and playful but for some reason he was determined to wrinkle his nose in every photo. Lol. Ahhhhhu boys.
