Elijah and Mama go to San Antonio

Elijah and I recently took a trip to San Antonio to visit my parents, Brad and Nan. It is so nice that they are so close for their frequent trips! Elijah still sleeps all or most of the entire three hour drive. In fact, some of his best naps are taken on our way to San Antonio lately. We had a lot of fun visiting and one of the highlights of our trip was Super Bowl Sunday! Mom, Elijah and I decided to take advantage of the unofficial holiday and go to Sea World. Let me tell you, if you want to hit an amusement park with no crowds, Super Bowl Sunday is the day to do it. No lines, no people really. It was AWESOME! Elijah got to see (and loved!) the Shamu show which he had slept through last time we went. He was just mesmerized. Jack Hannah was there and had an animal show that Mom and I really enjoyed though Elijah slept through most of it. He also got his first pair of walking shoes from Grandmama and Pop! He has become quite a proficient walker and it was time to get some shoes on those sweet feet when we are out in public!  Here are some pictures from our week!

Looking good in his new stroller with his new walking shoes and brand new mustache!

So serious

Naptime with Cinnamon

"Mama who is the big black and white thing?"

Love this face!

Elijah was able to get up close and personal with Shamu and his little penguin friend!

He loved the drum band that was playing in the park. It will be fun to see what instruments he is drawn to as he gets older.
Listening very closely to the beat.

We went on some children's rides in the Sesame Street fun land at Sea World

The merry go round was definitely his favorite

Hold on tight, big boy!

Nice ridin' Tex! I know the "stache-ifer " will be a big hit at the Rodeo at the end of the month!

"Um, who is this guy"

"Oh that's just Cookie Monster, Mama"
"Howdy Partner"
Relaxing at lunch with Great Nan.
