Welcome! This is a place for me to share stories of our family, every day life and special moments. It is also a creative outlet for me to share my thoughts and feelings on motherhood, learning and striving for the best for our children and family, spiritual growth and life in general. It has also become a place for me to keep track of and share some of my favorite recipes as well as some "crunchy living" choices and concoctions! I have always loved family photos, family stories and sharing my journey . Because we have so many friends and family members that live so far away, this is not only a way to record our family events and our adventures, but a way to share those things with loved ones near and far. I believe it is important to remember those moments that "make" our family and look forward to sharing these times with our children as we look back on our story.. ~ This is our journey. Thank you for being a part of it.....

Just What You're Looking For

Elijah Latheal

Elijah Latheal
I hoped and prayed so long for this sweet boy and he is everything I had hoped for and more. He is adventurous, curious and determined while also sweet, affectionate and gentle. I see kindness in him already and a love of animals that warms my heart. He brings joy and smiles to everyone he encounters. He has this ability to make whoever he is with feel so special because he is just so special. He is an incredible big brother that just adores the twins and is an amazing Mama's helper....a heart for service already! He makes every day fun and unique! His Favorite things are doing homework (Hopefully that lasts!), his pet guinea pig, Jamie, Family movie night and one on one time with Mama or Tony.

Rory Mark

Rory Mark
Our sweet Baby A is proving to be full of personality and is in love with the world around him. He is full of smiles, laughter and humor. He is definitely the funny one in the family. His sweet and loving disposition fills our days with joy. This sweet boy loves life...as long as Mama is not too far away. Yup, he is for sure Mama's boy. But he loves his Tony too. Especially when it is time to go fishing! Rory's favorites are fishing, ANYTHING where he gets to run and jump, animals and lots and lots of hugs and kisses. He is fiercely protective of his family and friends, especially his brothers. And he wants to do everything big brother does!

Patrick Jefferson

Patrick Jefferson
Our Baby B and the official "baby" of our family had a rough start to life spending his first 12 days in the NICU, finally coming home on on his and his brother's due date of Valentine's day. But you would never know it now. Patrick has hit all his milestones on or AHEAD of schedule, an incredible learner! He is our "deep thinker" and "old soul". There has always been a gentle wisdom in his eyes. I am so proud of the ease with which he seems to handle all the tough things that come his way. He also has funny little quirks that are uniquely his and make me giggle. His is our brave, strong boy! His favorites include puzzles, little trinkets and treasures that he keeps safely tucked away in his little hiding spots, working with Tony at his “farm” and mama cuddles. He is a gentle and sweet and gains the adoration of all he meets. He is still my tiny boy and we just adore him!.

Tony

Tony
I was blessed to be reunited with the love of my life in early December of 2016, first as friends and then quickly realized that God had more in mind for us. He is even more amazing than I remembered. Tony has built his own design business, Old Soul Creations, and makes a living creating art and making homes and businesses beautiful. I am so proud of him, not only for his work accomplishments but at the incredible way he helps to parents these sweet boys who just adore “my Tony”. He pitches in in every way and even takes over when needed, even if the need is just a break for me. The twins are blessed to have him as their Godfather. I love him with all my heart and thank God every day for bringing us back together.

Mama Stardust

Mama Stardust
Angela - I, the author of our family blog, love my boys (all four of them!) and am passionate about motherhood, nursing and lactivism, birth, the spiritual growth of myself and my family, crunchy and holistic living and health, human and animal rights, all things Celtic, and finding fun and creative ways to manage my home and guide our children. I am (almost) a doula! My company is called Cara Breith which is gaelic for "birth friend" and I am thrilled to have the chance to help support my family doing something I love!

Wrigley Field Parish

Wrigley Field Parish
Wrigley came into our lives in June 2010 at the age of two. We rescued him from South Central Bloodhound Rescue. Wrigley loves to cuddle and is AMAZING with Elijah. He allows him to practice petting which sometimes reslults in Elijah having a handful of bloodhound skin, or maybe a nose and Wrigley just lays back and lets it happen as Elijah learns. I think they will be best friends.

Mia

Mia
Mia has been an amazing addition to our family. She joined our family when Tony came into our lives and we adore her as if she has been here since day one. She and Wrigley are best buds and Mia is very protective of the family, especially the kids. During nighttime, she can be found doing rounds checking on the kiddos as they sleep. Not a car, jogger or squirrel can pass our window without acknowledment from Mia. She loves affections and returns it in full. She is well mannered and quite the gentle giant. We love our Mia!

Jamie

Jamie
Jamie joined our family on Christmas monrning. Santa brought her for Elijah as his very first pet. She is adored by the whole family and loves red peppers, cuddles from everyone and squeaks away when she is happy, usually when she is being held. Mia and Wrigley love to sniff her and she doesn't seem to mind. Elijah loves to take care of her and helps clean her cage, feed and water her and holds her every chance he gets!

Bonnie Blue Parish

Bonnie Blue Parish
I rescued this smiling girl in October 2002 when she was about nine months old. She was on her way to a shelter and I just could not allow that. We said goodbye to her on December 10, 2013 at 12:22 pm. She being hugged and kissed by myself, Chip and Elijah. She was sweet, loving and protective. We will always miss our Bonnie baby.
